Determine the class, Novice or Advanced, in which want to compete. The media of the image determines the category.

You may enter no more than 4 images in a competition session and no more than 2 images in a single category (Monochrome Print, Color Print, Slide or Digital ). Hand-colored prints should be entered as color prints.

No distinction is made within a category between an image produced by regular photographic processes or by digital processes.

Prints including mount no smaller than 5x7 or larger than 20x30 inches.

Mount. Use a mat to frame your prints, them attach the mat to a cardboard/hardboard backing. (It is usually BEST to use a white mat.)

DO NOT ATTACH any wires, hooks, objects to the back of the print.

Have your name and image title on slide or BACK of mounted print

On the back of your print/mounting draw an arrow pointing to the top

Slide entries must have a darkened circle in the lower left-hand corner of the front of the slide mount when the slide is held for proper viewing.

Slides must be usable in the VPS projector (Glass over Readymounts or other mounts too thick for the projector will be disqualified.)
