June Speaker

For June we have two speakers and they aren't going to speak.

Our friend and colleague Joe Miller has offered to do a critique session for us. This is a quite unusual opportunity for us to show our work to a most honored and respected judge and teacher, and to get his comments in a totally non-confrontational atmosphere.

The other participant in the critique is Ruth Neubauer. Ruth is a distinguished psychotherapist, musician, and photographer. She has exhibited photographs extensively in Maryland, Virginia, and Colorado . Her work exudes emotion: sometimes soothing, sometimes mysterious, sometimes reminiscent of Buddhism. Joe and Ruth are vastly different in style, yet both are accomplished teachers. They work together as complements, and thus will give critiques in unusual depth.

The program will be presented entirely by digital projection. All VPS members are invited to submit photographs in the usual format and in a fashion to be determined later. Submissions from other organizations in the Alliance will be accepted on a space-available basis.
