Paul Simmons Brings His ProShow Gold Tutorial to VPS

Want to know how to incorporate your images into a slide show that looks like it was done by a Hollywood pro? How about adding some background music, a few sound effects and perhaps a move clip or two? Learn how to do these things – and more – on March 4 when photographer and lecturer Paul Simmons brings his tutorial on ProShow Gold to VPS.

Simmons will discuss how to organize your images and other data so it will be easily retrievable in the future. He also will create a “Quick Show” that is set to music and uses randomized transitions and image motions. Simmons then will modify the “Quick Show” as a means to demonstrate the many features of the software.

A member of the Northern Virginia Photographic Society, Simmons has been pursuing photography for all of his adult life. In college, he purchased a 35mm SLR camera and shot mostly with black and white film.  After graduation, he used a 4x5 view camera for about 10 years and continued shooting in black and white.  Today he enjoys shooting with a 35mm digital SLR and enjoys the time he spends processing his images. Simmons has lectured on ProShow Gold for several photographic organizations in the region.

Distributed by the Photodex Corp., www.photodex.com, ProShow Gold is slideshow software available in consumer and professional editions that enables users to combine their photos, video clips, music and other content to create personalized slide shows.
