At the Vienna Photographic Society meeting on March 3rd meeting (7:30PM), acclaimed nature photographer Tony Sweet will help us to see and capture familiar subjects through new eyes.  In his astonishing flower photography, ranging from the serene to the experimental, Tony’s pictures offer a kaleidoscopic survey of innovative photographic techniques; perfectly balancing grace and spontaneity.

After 20 years as a professional jazz artist, Tony changed careers and directed his creative juices towards nature photography. In his nature photography, we also see the  improvisational, spontaneous, and abstract nature of jazz. We see his work on greeting cards, calendars, post cards, posters, annual reports, catalogs, articles, and electronic mediums.

Those of us who have seen Tony’s work and participated in his workshops have been quite impressed, not only with his truly extraordinary images, but also with his sharing of the techniques he uses in fulfilling his creative vision. If you would like to hear rare photographic artist share with us how he captures  and uses so much natural beauty thorough the lens of a camera, join us on Wednesday May 3rd.
